Every good thrash fan will appreciate Metallica and their legacy to the style, but you cant be naive and blind as not to admit that theyve become a bunch of fancy yuppies that release generical Metal music. Apart from that German thrash is much more pure than the American one.

Heard it live this year. Destruction fucking rules! Used to be not their biggest fan, just admitting their influence as one of the Kings of German Thrash but after the gig I've changed my mind - they are fucking amazing live!

Come on guys, this might not be Infernal Overkill or anything, but it's still awesome heavy metal.  Are you really this close minded?  So I'm guessing you don't enjoy South of Heaven, Youthanasia or Countdown to Extinction either because they weren't super fast and aggressive.  Today, bands like Overkill, Exodus, Death Angel and Testament are still putting out awesome music.  Sure, it might not be exactly like the originals, but the inability to like it comes from your own close mindedness not the music itself.  Think about how much awesome music you are voluntarily choosing to dislike because it's not exactly like the first few albums.  Open your mind a bit and enjoy heavy metal for what it is: FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!

Good point Nick. I just saw Destruction with Sepultura, Starkill and Arsis and Destruction kicked absolute ass. That lead singer is insane live.

but.did you listen whole album? is fast maybe 2 or 3 are like this way.but its a really and pretty good release...the lasts destruction.s releases.are just killer.,. if people wants to hear the same go back and listen infernal overkill 10000000 times .but they still being a strong group for their age.

Tons of good shit.  Check out smaller labels.  I personally really like Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Anciients, Heretoir and Midnight.  As of late at least, those bands have been on a loop in the car. 

"Good" is a subjective term. And Destruction have been playing this kind of metal for 30 years. So wether metal is going to "get good again" is kind of a silly question to ask.

This definitely does not rank amongst their better efforts.
