My dad died of cancer about a year ago, on birthday. This song describes so well the relationship we had. Growing up, I was a rebellious, arrogant, and super sarcastic kid. Peobably coulda had a better life if I took shit seriously. But my dad was always pushing me to be a better man. I’m sorry I only started pushing myself after I graduated and everything. Love ya, dad. Just hope what I been doing since last august has made you happy, at least.

This album was very underrated and forgotten by many. I didn't forget; this was a great album. ☺

I have been a Descendents fan since 1985 when I first heard Silly Girl.  I never new the story behind this song until I watched Filmage.  My heart goes out to Bill.   I can never listen to this again the same way I did before I knew the whole story.

I dont understand why this video has such a low quantity of views... One of the best songs of this awesome band.

Something is automatically bad if it's popular? Just understand that bands like sex pistols, ramones, clash (basically all your entry level punk bands) are very popular. Lou Reed is insanely popular and he is a musical genius and his music pieces of art.
