Just heard him perform live and it was magical!!!

This song will mean more to me than you will ever know. I heard for the first time it today randomly and since I've been home, I have listened to it on repeat for several hours crying so hard that I felt physical pain in my soul. Every word takes me somewhere and heals pain inside me that I didn't even realize I was still holding on to. This has been one of the most spiritual moments I've ever experienced and your song gave that to me. With all of my gratitude and sincerity, thank you for giving this to the world.

Has Dermot, maybe sampled 'Richard's Ashcrofts" real world'? More at the end I though, maybe. (Think right title) He may not have..! I wondered, as I've heard this song a thousand times but was live... This is even more lovely with that melody behind... If that's possible, his lives are out of this world.

Given the like ratio and the comments, I feel like I'm in the minority here. But am I the only one thoroughly disappointed by this version of the song? I feel like it's overproduced to the point of butchering what was one of, if not my, favorite song of Dermot's. What set Dermot apart from other artists was the sheer emotion and power in his voice, and the inexplicable additives they threw on top of the most powerful part of this song completely overshadow his voice. It took one of his best songs and made it mediocre at best.

I agree it has been over-produced but it still a serious piece of class. But yeah, the original is something special

Just when I thought I couldn’t love this song more, THOSE DISTORTED LAYERED VOCALS.

This song is one of his best but the auto tune doesn’t show how good his voice is.. prefer the acoustic version,This album is a masterpiece though!

I feel that the autotune adds more to the song actually, it illustrates the emotional dissonance felt by the singer in a way that traditional vocals struggle to achieve short of just crying into a microphone

Yeah I actually listened to it again because I was looking for the part where he was very emotional and screaming because that part was so good in the acoustic version.But this version gives it a different kind vibe which is not bad. And it was a good decision to bring this song back for his new fans that will check his album. But I do hope they also check the acoustic version.
