Iris DeMent is the greatest since Patsy Cline. With that hauntingly beautiful voice Iris DeMent is very pleasing to the ear.

Her performance is a 10, yet I'm having trouble describing the intricate melody!

Iris is magnificent - I am a late comer to her music. Personally think Sing The Delta is one of the strongest albums I have heard for ratio of outstanding tracks since Blood On The Tracks. And like Dylan at his best, Iris emotes every word and lives every moment of a song

I`m jealous on Jerry Douglas, he is playing with angels (Iris, Allison) all the time. But he is good enough to do it. This is wonderful.

Iris was in a movie called "Songcatcher". You should check it out if possible. She sings in the movie & there's a lot of other beautiful music by other people.

Great performance by Iris. I was surprised to recently learn that she is married to Greg Brown! There are a couple great Tim O'Brien videos posted by tomscotland that are recorded in this same room. I'm curious about it as well.
