Delta Rae - Hitch A Ride Lyrics

I loved this very much though I still love their country song A Long And Happy Life better because it felt a lot more darker to me but this was still amazing too. I also love that their music hasn't changed a bit as they still have that country sound in this. Their sounds hasn't changed at all which is a good thing. None of their songs have been missing anything from what I can see and feel. Maybe that's just me cause I pay a lot of attention to it. I hope they do more country songs.

So is this (and the other audio only songs recently posted) going to be on the coming album "Light"? I'm confused as this shows copyrighted by Big Machine Label in 2019. I thought the point of them going independant was that they weren't going to release music under that label. I don't really care whether they are part of the label or not, but I hope all these songs are actually going to be released on a CD I can buy and aren't just being posted here only.

No. as far as we know None of the songs that are available on iTunes under the big machine label are going to be on either of the bands new albums. That was basically an album that they recorded for big machine that never came out so big machine just posted all of those tracks one by one as digital singles. In order for the band to release those on CD or vinyl they would have to either buy back the masters from big machine and that would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars that they just don’t need to spend on their back catalog right now or they could re-record the material but they also have to pay big machine in order to be able to even re-record them so for the time being they will exist only as digital tracks. so far the only confirmed tracks for “THE LIGHT” are “Take Me There” which was released this morning as the lead off single from the album as well as “Wrong Ocean”, “Nothing Better Than This”, “Burning In Carolina”, “No One Will Miss Me” and “Stronger Than A Lion”. they have also confirmed that “Badlands”, “Shadows Of Vegas” “Come Back Alive” and “Never Coming Back” will be on their other upcoming album “THE DARK”

agentalbert also, all of the big machine songs that have been posted here on YouTube are available on iTunes and Amazon… Anywhere where you can buy digital music they are available for download and you can put them on your own CD from there

@Delta Rae Oh I KNOW those are witchy, I was talking about songs like 'If i loved you' which have a different tone. Ever since I listened to "Bottom of the river" my internal soundscape has been all rattling chains and water 24/7 I think I need an intervention.

Oh hello Delta rae... Welcome back. The last three releases were ok BUT this is the Delta rae I know and love

I love all of their songs. I'm a huge fan lol. I even loved their last three releases. Maybe it's because their sounds hasn't changed a bit yet and both country music and other styles are so perfect. I hope they do more songs like their last three releases. I want more of those and I have a feeling they will. Both styles are incredible and I can't even give a constructive criticisms to them since they are too perfect. Glad they never left and still doing both styles and genres. One of their best is A Long and Happy Life that I felt was really dark and I felt that. I hope they don't leave country music at all as they have that country sound.

Oh yeah! And the air.., was smothering, heavy, sultry. And they claim you can not drown on dry land and yet.., my breath was of pain like the one you must eventually take, when pinned just below the surface. And so .., you continue to walk as another car passes and the bayou,.,watches from the side of the road and the setting sun, for someone in this coming night, dreams of going too far. And I just need a ride.

Agreed. Though every single songs of theirs are incredible and what I love about them is that their sounds never changed and that they can really do both genres and styles. I hope they do more songs like A Long And Happy Life cause of how dark it was. But like I said all of their songs are equally amazing and there's not one song I like better than the other. They should definitely continue both things. There are no constructive criticisms to give as I feel like they don't really need it as they aren't going to listen and will just do what they love doing which is a great thing.
