All over this album...Ian Paice is one of my drum heroes. He plays fast but has that rare talent of injecting a feel, groove, whatever into his drumming (and we're both LEFT-handed drummers)!

Hi, it means that that the time is divided in 3 (triolet). It's also called a 12/8 (12 eigth-note per bar). The drummer typically plays the 1st and 3rd note of the triolet, which makes this "shuffle" sound. X.XX.XX.XX.XX.XX.X

Great track (from a great album). They resurrected this on the 1996 tour when I caught them live. Gillan's "eagles and snow" imagery fits the music perfectly.

This song is one long hook city. Doesn't get better than that. Twists and turns, chugging along like a juggernaut -- every member gets a chance to tear it up on full blast. My absolute favorite since i was a kid.
