Blackmore's Rainbow album ''Man on the silver mountain' puts Rithie Ritchie squarely back in top form in '76, lest you forget.

not the other way round, 'blood of the sun' was recorded in 1969, 'lay down,stay down'
was recorded in 1973.

J'adore le solo de Ritchie Blackmore (et un de plus, un!). Rory Gallagher réussissait lui aussi à faire chanter ses cordes. C'est d'autant plus remarquable que, dans le genre, ils ne sont pas si nombreux... C'est clair, il y a plein de virtuoses mais de là à maîtriser à ce point là...

Le meilleur solo de Ritchie de tous les temps, il me donne la chair de poule.

Послушав замечательные во всех отношениях новые версии классики DP,   с "нового" альбома The Purple Album (2015), мне почему-то  захотелось вдруг вернуться к первоисточнику.  Казалось я слушал альбом Burn тысячу раз,  но время ни на йоту не ослабило его величия и значимости в истории рока.  На мой взгляд лучшая запись состава MK III...

The whole band is awesome i been DP fan since 1970 but in this song and any DP song Ian paice is the driving beat behind DP Ian is the only drummer DP has ever had and rightfully so he is one of the best rock drummers of all time and the drumming in this song is off the hook. The RnR Hall of Fame don"t know what they are missing ROCK ON DP!!!!!!!!!!!
