Damn such a good song from the Legends, Gillan sounds a bit more nasal than usual on the higher notes but it's still great, Paice is one of my favorite drummers, Roger Glover is rocking, Steve Morse is a really good replacement for Blackmore although he doesn't even come close to Blackmore, Don Aiery sounds great & is filling perfect ly for Jon Lord, in all a really good song from a band that is nearly 50 years old

Although I don't like Morse's style, this solo is pretty awesome and energetic. Some keyboard parts remind me too much of Jon Oliva's Raise the curtain.

And seems they nail it again. Just hope Bob Ezrin produce, at least, one or two more Deep Purple albuns, before any of them retire...

First of all it's not terrible it's not the old DP but it still sounds better than a lot of new rock. And you did not see them in 81' cause they were not together then so i think your creditablity on this does not carry a lot of weight. Sorry but they still sound great for what they are putting out. I hear ya. MkII is by far my favorite iteration of Purple. MkIII was awesome too, but every line up was good. I can't think of even one Purple album that doesn't have something I like on it. It might have something to do with the fact that I'm a drummer and the one constant in the band has always been Ian Paice. he's the only member who's never gone anywhere and one of the very best rock drummers ever.

I met him in a record shop in Norwich when Mr Universe came out in 1979, I was 16 then. He was such a nice guy and signed the album Mr Universe and all the Purple album covers I had brought with me. He's still got a great voice too.

Honestly, this isn't bad at all. Of course the band will always suffer the loss of Blackmore and Lord, but Don Airey is one of the good old veterans and Steve Morse is still quite good, just a different style.

Deep Purple was the first band I listened to! I used to listen some kind of pop-shit, and then my uncle suggested to listen something he called "Deep Purple - Fireball"
I was like: "Huh. Ok. Lets try it"
And then i was like i opened another world. the world of rock :3
And then i statred to listen Black Sabbath and other bands)

Man this music is just so amazing... but the vocals sound... blergh. His voice doesn't sound the way it used to. Personally I'm not a fan. But... I still admit this is the best music they've put out in forever.

and further more idiots Iron Maiden have been heavily influenced by Deep Purple. Deep purple are the founders of heavy metal besides, Zepplin, & Blue Cheer. This is good music not sure what y'all complaining about.
