Deadsy - Mansion World Lyrics
Once upon, and once up high
A dandy dream, what means to die?
Things to come, as life goes by
The core of human equation
Tentragram present the sign
Turn around, I'd like to know you
Everywhere and every why
The answer lay beyond the sky
Pass through the seven satellites pass on to the place we go to
(Learn to read!)
To rhyme, to count your primes
An earthly education
(Climb A Tree!)
In life in hopes to find
(The mid-space time - dilation)
A slave becomes a master
On a Mansion World, the soul's converse
And life moves a little faster
We unify the universe
And arrive in the ever after
In the Mansion World, I might like to know you
Now and then it comes to mind
I draw upon a long lost time
So don't ask me why the angels won't cry 'cause you know what I've already told you
Memories of Urantia girls they race around my brain in swirls
You never ask me why the change is in the sky bring you up which to the hole
that you go through
And now you're off you've done the time
Prepare for divine invasion
As the spirit climbs Morontia minds
Ascend to the cosmic nation
On a Mansion World, the role's reversed
A slave becomes a master
On a Mansion World, the soul's converse
And life moves a little faster
We unify the universe
And arrive in the ever after
In the Mansion World, I might like to know you
New Urantia girl, everything's below you
On a Mansion World, the role's reversed
A slave becomes a master
On a Mansion World, the soul's converse
And life moves a little faster
We unify the universe
And arrive in the ever after
In the Mansion World, I might like to know you
Once upon, and once up high
A dandy dream, what means to die?

Deadsy Mansion World Comments
Cher should be fucking proud.
I never realized how much the drums sound like Don’t Come Around Here No More by Tom Petty until today
I liked this song for so long then actually did some digging on its meaning...it changed my life
" The urantia book" look it up
I think these guys were the first to revive that retro 80's synth sound that is so popular now. What do you guys think? The movie Drive really accelerated synthwave into the mainstream along with video games, but I think Deadsy self titled was the first. Orgy's cover of Blue Monday too!
Been listening to this song for 19 years. It's still so pretty and sinister all this time later.
@3:26 & @4:45 reminds me of that kids show reading rainbow! Awesome!
What a banger!!!
he's pointing on the balkan peninsula :D
Real song its awesome and, all
Takes a special human soul to like this one. Women, man ? Let's start an army
Zomg, so catchy. The rhyme scheme here is deeply habit-forming.
I love that synth breakdown
and now you're off, youve done the time

RIP my dear friend ✝ 💙
Urantia book
2019 and forever a fan!
You're welcome world....
Probably the best new wave song ever made!!!
It's like they ripped off the intro to Tom Petty's Don't Come Around Here No More.
Glad they're coming back
Way ahead of their fucking time - they deserve better!!!
My favorite Deadsy song
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I broadcast this song and sent it out worldwide when it first came out. I can’t believe how fast time has gone by. Hey... I know another place where time goes by fast. It’s called heaven.

How I messege you

One thing, one thing leads to another thing but nothing seems to be the right thing.
I love that you love this song!!
Talk about a throw back! Where are you at, Deadsy? Best wishes!
Stellar track
Synth player for this band was amazing. They should get back together and ride this synthwave revival happening currently. Deadsy got pitched to the wrong crowd back then and we're associated with all those awful nu metal acts. Imagine them going on tour NOW and playing with a band like Drab Majesty.....
Deadsy was ahead of their time.. They need to revive the band, call the next album d3adsy..lol
With just a tad less of that gothic sound they had, they could've gone more mainstream than they did back then. It was just too dark and weird for a lot of kids when I was younger but times are different now..
Greggy D lmfaooooo gtfoh with that. Too dark lmaoo
Numetal is what made this group so beautiful. Go suck a jocks jockstrap you alpha!
My first thought upon hearing Drab Majesty--we're back to Deadsy and the world is finally ready.
They are cominv back. Follow Elijah on IG
reminds me of the supermen by david bowie
They keyboards and guitars in the middle third of the song are the best combo thereof I've ever heard.
Listening to this really makes me feel like I'm 15 again, I swear to god this album really opened up my world to music.
good catchy song
🖖✨💓💋💖💞👑😇🎊🌟😎💓💋💋💞😇✨🖖💓
If i have a soul..this song touches it... i miss this band and time...please save me.
Stay strong buddy. You know more than you know.
Hope all is well bud.
They're working on a new album. Exeter posted a sound sample on Instagram.
my Favorite Deadsy song.... good to cruise to... love it!!!
This and Phantasmagore!
One of my favorite songs
hija de puta
Urantia Book, it all makes sense now.
Yes I was reading it, it's pretty interesting, even though I'm a hardcore fan of metaphysics, yet the concepts developed in the book makes sense, it contains some concepts from the universe but at least it's not the supid theory of the scientology which every time i read about their beliefs it doesnt make any sense.
+Rodrigo Manuel Ibarra Juarez I completely agree... I personally adore the book of Urantia... and this song... I play it with headphones whilst vacuuming.
After reading the liner notes to this album I went out and bought the Urantia Book. I wish I could thank Elijah Blue for sharing this wonderful book which I read everyday. So many questions answered, so much love from the First Source and Center.
best song ever!
To the rich kids.....Don't fuck it up..............Invest a bit, play with a lot!..Save the rest!! Be fuckin smart!
I don't know why but this makes me so sad.
the greatest song ever..deadsy
Yey! Urantia book!
I personally think there are Urantia references hidden and dispersed in media all over the place, it's a very inspiring text and is widespread even if it isn't organized and institutionalized like a religion.
My favourite Deadsy track, I'd say. Though it's REALLY difficult to say that, haha. I love all of their music, even the oldest material. I just hope for a new album at some point.
This song meant sooooo much to me when I was younger. I even bought the Urantia book!
I'm not Christian but in the bible Jesus said 'In my father's house there are many mansions.' In the Urantia book they say that these mansions are worlds, which blew my mind and still does.
The Urantia Book has changed my life. I read it everyday and everyday it enlightens and uplifts me. I've given it to family and friends in hopes they will also know of the love of our Lord Michael of Nebadon.
Relax guys, its just another "me too" religion from the earlier 20th century.. Scientology's cooler cousin.
Dont take it too seriously.
These theories are based upon dmt experience.
@garrett neumann absolutely are
@acerb45666555 are you speaking of chaos magick? As in nothing is true but everything is permitted? Learning all there is to learn from our world Urantia and keeping what's useful and disregarding the rest? My current beliefs are satanism but I've been Christian, last year I was practicing taoism. Not sure what to believe next year.
I bet Cher is the only disliker of this video
@*****
Jealousy
elijah said that they have not the best relationship
man this song brings back so many memories.....old old memories of when i was a kid. it almost makes me tear up
you know the song is good when you rape the replay button a 1 million times
This is based on the teachings of the Urantia Book. Interesting...
When a band compensates an average singer.
One of the best tracks they ever did, if not THE best.
Damn right I did!
+someguy827 Agreed
Agreed!!!!
Such a good song, takes me back
Going to have to say it is their best
One of the best songs ever made. Have listened to this song a million times and STILL gives me chills :D
Perfect for late night drives.
My favorite Deadsy Song...intelligent lyrics, great sound, they
r mystics
@Vaperkitten Reed My fav. too. I saw them at a small venue in Cleveland a few years back. And I was hangin by the stage before the show, and found a list of songs they were going to do. They had Mansion World on it, but it was crossed out...was like NOOOOOOOOOOO
Aww man I would have been disappointed to not hear that song, I found them after they were done touring so I am sad to say I never got to see them live...hope someday they will make a comeback
Try with seagulls the songs revolves around the Jewish mithology, It astonishes me how Elijah writes songs about difficult themes yet they are pretty clear
@Rodrigo Manuel Ibarra Juarez Great song
I did not know that about Seagulls, but LOVE the song. I would love to sit and talk to Elijah for just an hour I bet he is a interesting person. And like you say, he does write about complex themes with complete understanding in them it seems. Wish they would make another album but the longer it gets the less likely I feel they ever will.
Still my favorite Deadsy song
can you upload the whole album?
<333 Deadsy is like an 80's band + marilyn manson + korn ALL ON CRACK.
holy fuck I LOVE this song
@a lleiN Oh you're 100% right, there's definitely a Gary Numan influence... especially this song... which is my personal favorite off of Commencement
@Richard Thompson Same. I could listen to it for hours! :)
Yasssss! :)
Sarah Hasty if one understands the phlight of destruction the new world order has had on us for decades hardcore in America now.. and reads the lyrics to this song.. it's political Sci-fi.
I can see that as well. Well said, my friend!
This album was a MASTERPIECE ,how they never got bigger i fucking dont understand. I worship this
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
DirtyBeard Chandler bc the corporate music machine shut them down. that's cher's son.......
is it just me or does this sound like something from the 80s
@MatronCity THANK you for the lead on the sample. I'm always looking for these connections. I never listened to much Tom Petty (and the Heartbreakers or solo).
+zrectnat Main reason is because every synth they used was directly FROM the 80's. Their keyboarder had rack mounted JP-8080's and a racked Juno-106, neither of those are even made anymore. He triggered those through midi controller keyboards, and then along with those had a standard JP 8000 keyboard. Most people don't think about just how fucking badass that is.
I agree that is badass^
2006? say what?
Should make it available on mobile!
URANTIA book!
best collection of papers ever published :)
I'm Urantian Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite video on YouTube."
we unify the universe to arrive in the ever after
or maybe 10 years too late
Amazing song thanks for the post :)
oh I know them. :)
most ppl were steeped in Heavy distorted bands like Korn at the time to appreciate Deasdy. they'd fit right in the retro wave scene now
you heard their Tom Sawyer cover ? Its dope too
1 person is stuck in a cardboard box world...
Chase Morgan Now 11 people are stuck in cardboard box world 😂😂😂
tom petty - don't come around here no more ...the drum loop. I fucking love both songs.
beyondfamous I love your comment lol
I love this band!, I wish more people of this generation would get to know them
This song always brings back great memories. I think I rushed to Borders or The Wall when this came out. But yeah Deadsy should have been huge it's unfortunate not many people go into them because they made amazing songs. This one being my favorite. And yes always loved how the beginning sounds a little like 'Don't Come Around Here No More'.
... and absolutely some of the greatest lyrics I've ever heard too...
The influences really show on this one!! Gary Numan meets Tom Petty... and 100% AMAZING!!!! GREAT track!!!
one of their BEST songs ever !
I remember jamming this so high driving home after getting my 32nd degree in the Scottish Rite! Fuckin Great record!!!
No u didn't
the beginning sounds exactly like "don't come around here no more" by tom petty
ExpertTroll same drum loop
because it is
Funny, Deadsy actually does Rush covers, lol
I saw Orgy play a few nights ago in SF. One of the guitarists from Deadsy is now also in Orgy.
"A modern new wave band whose lead singer is the son of Cher."
This sounds excellent with a good set of subs!
orgy does ? ill have to look it up , thats awesome
LOL what on earth for?
Hell yeah, they're amazing!! Finally got some new material out ;-)
The lyrics are wrong. The lyrics on song meaning dot net are the correct lyrics, the same lyrics that are posted in the physical album.
great song
definitely check out the band orgy , they are very similar to deadsy
This is quite simply my favorite song ever recorded. The depth of the lyrics combined with the perfection of the music....nothing more needs be said.
love the voice! where can I find more bands that do the electro voice?
So underrated.
I have not heard this in forever!!!
80's feelings
