This song is about someone cheating on him, obviously, BUT then there's the song "the burning of bridges" which talks about the complete opposite, of him cheating on someone. Fucking tenuous, a part in both songs says "it's the nail in our coffins, it's the burning of bridges, it's the immeasurable hell, couldn't keep your/my hands to your/my-self"

Over on fb, Rory was kind enough to reply to a comment about this, but I am horribly disappointed in the negative, angry feel of so much of this album, and grossly disappointed in all the vulgarity. I absolutely loved what it means to be defeated and couldn't be prouder to call myself a fan of Dayseeker. I still love this band with all of my heart, but I leave this album feeling worse than before I listened to it.

@***** I never said was offended, I feel vulgarity is a basic way to express yourself and in most instances is a "cop out" creatively. I also fail to see the beautiful meaning of this song. Unless I am mistaken, it is an attack on a cheating ex lover, full of basic vulgarity.
