Hey. My name is Kevin hall. I'm trans she her they. I'm bi-racial. I pass as Caucasian I was trans outed by the Halifax Pop Explosions hospitality coordinator while I was working for the festival. The person who outed me and the person she was with sexually harrased me about not having sex with them. Both of them have sexually misconducted involving me. They have vocalized upholdimg opressive systemic and individualistic norms saying if we embraced diversity we would all be the same and one of them said chinese people scare her and hate when they're around her. The festivals executive director who I had a personal relationship with was non-solidarity, didn't believe me and continued to hire them and stopped hiring me. This outting and non solidarity resulted in a social crisis that led to joblessnss and homelessness which is a crisis I struggled through for 3 years. Halifax is a long way I would suggest and this is not intimidation, pulling out of the festival until they are actuve about the classist opressive colour washed staff. I had a mental breakdown two months ago after my 5 time in a shelter. I messaged them and the contiued non-solidarity so I threatened their festival which led to criminalization on top of the relationship losses resuking from the social crisis which I'm currently dealing with while homeless because of this festival. My indigenous mother went missing and the person who outed me would try to be like a mother for me without my consent or reception. They would get angry and treated me like I owed them or like something was wrong with me when I rejected or expressed a boundy. She would try to make it seem as though I was crossing thieir boundries while around other people when I was just sitting there doing nothing.
