everyone probably relates to this song in different ways, but I believe he’s realizing that he’s probably not capable of loving her the way she does because of how much emotional baggage he might still have, and he loves her, but he fails to love her fully, he doesn’t want to let her in because she’ll only pain more and so will he if he doesn’t set himself free in return setting both free. Free from the chance of more loss and more pain. That is love but when love ends. He knows this is a common issue of his if he’s writing about it. I’m experiencing everything I just wrote, this song is where I am in life.

I hate when a song plays at either a restaurant or on the radio and you know its an instant favorite and there's a big chance you'll never hear it again cause there's no info on the title or artist..... Well.... I found it and it's not the case this time!!
