Well, his death caught me by surprise, I was on twitter and saw that his name was trending...of course I knew that could only mean bad news....Whenever Trump news starts getting to me I come on youtube and start listening to old music from the 60s, 70s and 80s as well as the 50s or I'd probably go stark raving mad from our daily sh*tshow which is Trumpland. I also watch old television shows...the world is such a mean and nasty place these days....:(

I'm a woman, was a girl back in the early 70s, I never had his picture on my wall. I would have put up his picture, thought he was cute as a button but I shared a room with my sister and she was into bands like Aerosmith from what I remember. We had a poster of Steven Tyler on our wall and a few other rockers. If I had dared hang up a picture of D.C. should would have laughed her @ss off and probably would have ripped it down.
One of my friends had a picture of Donny Osmond, she had the perfect young girl's bedroom. She was an only child and was indulged much more than we were. I didn't know what to think of her poster but she ended up getting bullied. She was a sweet girl. Another friend of mine had The Partridge Family album and was intent on playing it when I visited her house.
I was bullied myself though, I wasn't your average girl, I was more of a tomboy type. I later outgrew that stage. I always loved men though and had many crushes on tv stars back in the day. I could list them here but it would be too long. I once had a crush on Leonard Nimoy when I was in my early teens and they were showing Star Trek reruns in the afternoons. Thought his character was so cool...Also liked Alan Alda on MASH, he was another favorite of mine. So I had some really odd crushes in my day....then again I also liked John Travolta and Tom Selleck so it runs the gamut. There was always something about Tom in his shorts riding around in his Ferrari that got my blood racing....I was older when that show came on the air...and it inspired a trip to Hawaii that I'll never forget. Never got to meet the guy though.
