Darin, Bobby - Fabulous Places Lyrics
There are so many
Fabulous faraway places to see
Such as Mexico, Sweden
Hawaii, Japan and Capri
There's so many
Exciting and wonderful places
Mountains and jungles and desert oases
Pleasant as home is
It isn't what Rome is...
So why stay there...
When there are so many
Fabulous faraway places to see
Just be only names to you and me...
I feel certain there're people
We'd be glad to know there
So tell me why don't we
Get up and just go there
Go to those fabulous places...
Where we long to be...
Like Bangkok and Hong Kong and Paris and Venice
Tokyo and Cairo and Lisbon and London
Wonderful fabulous places
We're longin' to see.
There are so many
Simply incredible places to see
When I think of the warm Caribbean
I see a new world for you and me
I'd give anything just to have
One single day there
And once we get there
I know that we'll stay there
Stay in those fabulous places...
Where we long to be...
Like Bangkok and Hong Kong and Paris and Venice
Tokyo and Cairo and Lisbon and London
Siam! Sienna! Vienna! Verona!
Java! Jamaica! Bombay! Barcelona!
Show me those fabulous... places...
We're longin' to see...

Bobby Darin *did* sing “fabulous places”. I’ve heard Spacey’s version and this doesn’t sound like Spacey to me. Thoughts?
I wanna fly somewhere listening this song!
I listen to this whenever I’m flying United Airlines.
Listening to this I believe the first part is Kevin Spacey from the Movie and it is cut at mark 1:25 where Bobby Darin sings. Definite difference in their voices and you can't mistake Bobby's voice....
Terri Robison hi! do check out his other songs - am sure you'll like his music a lot more :-)
'enjoyed this!! FANTASTIC VOICE by the Master of Swing!!!
This IS Spacey, sorry 'My'. Oh well, it is still a great song.
Sorry LA Wible
But this is 110% Bobby Darin, if you’re a hardcore Bobby Darin fan then you will most certainly hear his tone and timbre, and that my friend is Bobby Darin!
i am here for pan am
I love this songMy Maggie
This isn't Bobby Darin. This is Kevin Spacey singing it as a cover from the 2004 movie "Beyond The Sea"
@Karl Seaton Very similar though so don't worry about it. Tough to tell the difference.
@Ben Macri It's amazing how similar they sound, Spacey also has the likeness of Darin.
Definitely not Mr. Karaoke.
My My hi! glad to know another BD fan :-) hope you're on his FB fan pages :-) ...let's keep his fabulous music alive :-)
