This was a band I liked a lot during my miss spent youth. m Why did kurt cobain and pearl jam have to ruin this type of music?

If was counter to Ridiculous Popularity of Heavy metal Hair bands in 80s that allow Grunge to its half a decade as part of the mainstream. New Wave just seems to have been trapped in the 80s due to its sound and the generational shift.

I remember listening to this during my high school days.That was over 20 years ago.

Thats funny, Ive repeated that lyric to myself out loud, and once I even told my gf, "I like this bed unmade". She had no idea that I was referring to a Cutting Crew song!!

Simple perfection.

Even now at random times the lyric "I like the room this way. I like my bed unmade." floats through my head. I sing it to myself and wonder if anyone else around me would even know this song.

@RitzyTrailer yeah, it's missing the final 15 seconds or so of that great backup vocalist. That was my favorite part of the song where she comes in. This is a great tune.

this album's been re-released? Really now? With new stuff? Who knew?? I actually lost my CD of it in a move a few years back unfortunately...I totally loved this song in particular...There first album was so huge, can't believe that this song at least wasn't a bigger hit.
