the cure pretty much died after Wish. I think they did not do a really good album after that one, even though Bloodflowers was better than Wild Mood Swings. Hard to believe this is the same band that wrote Figurehead or Shake Dog Shake.

A sadly underrated album - some interesting experimentation on this one that they got slammed for. I think that the negative reaction to the WMS album scared them off taking so many chances in subsequent albums.
