I play this song every time I go on a wilderness trip.....whitewater summer was one of my favorite movies when I was a teenager☺
A lot of what he sings and throws out on this album are just mumbles and rock cliches but he does it with such attitude and a great showman.
I rarely understand a line sung, never mind the whole meaning behind a song. Singers are just another instrument in the band afaic. It's a sign of my woodenheadedness I suppose, but probably not such a bad thing much of the time.
If its got a good melody thats all that matters to me 👍 and this song has it by the bucket loads 👍😎
