Cult Of Luna - Finland Lyrics

These things moved me when I turned my back. Now I return with open hands.
I found light that lead me to the shrine where children sang and pilgrims mourned.
I was lost but not alone.
From a distance they come alive. Sleepwalking across the plains.
No answers were found here. Seeking shelter in her embrace.
Down on sore knees. Erase and begin. Under my eyelids, come forth light.

Both bands were formed around the same time and the similarities they share are from the band "Neurosis".

I'm very intrigued by this bands sound. I just heard of them minutes ago & I decided to try out their album "Somewhere Along The Highway." This track definitely perks my ears up. Lets try track 3......

    d.... ....

+deckardplisken Salvation and Vertikal are both brilliant albums so you should check them out afterwards :)

    d.... ....

All of their albums are great, but I agree that Salvation, Somewhere Along the Highway and Vertikal are my personal favorites. If you like these guys, you might also like Callisto (from Finland) or even maybe A Hope for Home (from the US) on The Everlasting Man, Realis and In Abstraction. Also, another great band in the post-metal genre would be Hands or its successor project, Everything In Slow Motion. They're both a more direct, less drawn out sound overall but have a similar amount of atmosphere and excellent songwriting. :)

    this is good!
