This sounds like it could be an intro to a new TV series, especially the build up and dramatic fall off towards the end. So far this album has been what I was looking for (for the most part) in that the sounds heard on Almost Human is available in full track form.

Awesome track, love the new album.

It's certainly an improvement over the original, but that's not saying much when the original was too "modern" and too far removed from your style, much to your expense.

It's also rather short, compared to your longer and better tracks, like True Grit. This might be a good thing, however, considering the quality (Or lackthereof) the original had.

I know that you guys sampled a lot of 90's and 2000's rap back in the day to make your songs, and I can understand how that's nearly impossible to do now, since that kind of rap's been dead since 2007 (Thanks for nothing, Kanye). Still, there are some modern rappers who play more classical rap, such as Killer Mike. Maybe sample some of his work instead, because the R&B Starbucks hipster stuff you put out, like Difference, the kind of stuff that only people who never listened to your prior music and thus helped you grow back in the 90's and 2000's, isn't working for me personally, and I'm sure many other fans share the same sentiment.

Just my 2 cents. In any case, a new album was a long time coming, and I look forward to its release and wish you guys the greatest of success.

Difference wasn't very modern... it sounds nothing like other electronic music from today. It wasn't their usual stuff, but it wasn't "R&B Starbucks hipster stuff" in any way.

It does sound modern, just not electronic; it sounds like every modern R&B hipster song ever, and you'd know this if you heard other songs like Difference.

I dunno. I listened to early Crystal Method and I think this is kind of cool and catchy. I'm more bothered by what I'd call the "gratuitous unearned drop" (like in Emulator, where they have barely gotten into any kind of beat and started the song and they stretch out a silence.) It's art, though. So you're never going to please everyone--and while I don't think you have to make music to criticize music, it certainly helps if everyone did try and realize how freaking hard it is. Anyway, I like this album more than the last, myself...it's a bit weird but worth it to listen through IMO.

+Hostile Fork You would be the exception to the rule; long-time TCM fans likely wouldn't appreciate this jarring shift. It's just a remix of the same song from the previous, eponymous album, and with no improvements of which to speak. There's no point in learning how to make music to be able to criticize it; even the worst media works took effort to make, but that doesn't change the fact that they're the worst of their kind, and this song is no exception on that particular front.

There's a unique Bond intro vibe Im feeling from this. Love it.

Don't understand the renaming of previous track (Difference from TCM) and not just saying Difference Remix....

People are less likely to buy and/or listen if there are too many remixes in a given album, especially if it's a single being released to create anticipation.

It's like trying to understand women, you can't, so you just go with it.
