Crosby & Nash - J.B.'s Blues Lyrics

You finally found someone to watch the sunset with
You finally found a girl that makes you shine
And all you ever wanted was for her to be
By your side
I hope you take the time to understand me now
If I said some things you might not like to hear
But it's only me and how I feel about you
You are my friend
Watching over all the years I've known you now
You've been looking through the glass at shooting stars
And all you ever wanted was for them to see
Who they are, it's not "so far"?
So forgive me if I ever disappointed you
And said some things you might not like to hear
But it's only me and how I feel about you
You are my friend

It sounds like the record skips in places, but it's still great stuff. Thanks for posting. I just got really into Nash's Songs For Beginners last year and finding this is just an awesome compliment to that, in ways.

  6. J.... B....

One of my favorites, along with the other album that came out a year before.....incredible songwriting and GREAT players, wow.

really cool..has a poppy james taylor- 70's pop vibe...really takes me back..missed this one somehow, plus i was a dumb-ass teen in the 70's...catchin' up...you just can't beat the older masters...pop, but so much better than the a.m. radio stuff i remember....with age comes insight! Also very sexy~!

This is weird ...It seems to skip at the same place as my old LP on spotlight.

You know, my copy may do that too ... eerie!

    S.... E....

Not weird actually, and not too uncommon on the handling area of the outer rim where the first track is. If a pressing plate has a tiny imperfection or a speck on it, the flaw might make it onto many copies before it is discovered, if ever. Playing fine at first and then showing up later with a little wear is typical as well.

David Lindley at his best !

  10. G.... M....

Not a bad song on this album. TY for sharing, I'd forgotten how good this is.

A rare and underrated album - thanks for posting! :-)
