They just seem soo half-assed for lack of better term and kinda filler songs. good golly miss molly idk why i just cant stand. Re:  "Penthouse Pauper" by Credence Clearwater Revival.  I used to frickin' ROCK OUT with these dudes at my home in Ross, CA in the late 1960s/early 1970s!  In my mind -- they had more power, bayou funk, & gut wrenching soul than any other American rock band!  Marin County folks are especially proud of C.C.R. 'cuz they're from the East Bay -- (I think somewhere near Martinez; Contra Costa County)!  They were ON FIRE with this song!  YOWZA BABY!  LOVE C.C.R.!  * Cav in NW OR; Canada's Independence Day,  (7/1/15)!  *

The great awesome talent of John fogerty is too well represented here but it's too undeniable how whole band was in tune here : the drum amazing job , the rythm guitar and oh yes the guy that engineering that worked to all that to be so perfectly recorded in case Russ Gary !

if you ever read his book Fortunate Son he didin;t consider himself a good player. he writes he actually took lessons later on from those pickers he looked up to.
