I'm not saying it's a bad song, but nothing recent has the same feel as Nymphetamine, much less Bathory Aria. Those songs you can come back and listen to over and over again. This and their latest offerings is more a one time listen kind of thing.

listened to all albums growing up seen them change. I've changed stopped listening to them ten years ago came back out of curiosity and i am very impressed. They will forever be my favorite band now its time to catch up i missed ten years worth of masterpieces. Wish me luck! \m/ !!! Like they say, like a bottle of fine wine, only gets better with age!

I think all their albums are fkn great but I really enjoy going back and listen to their earliest albums, also to see how far along they've come. Also I love the fact that each of their albums tell a story or many stories for that matter. I think they are original and they never seize to amaze me. Enough said.

They never fail to at least impress me. I love this new album. All you idiots complaining about the "change" need to stop. Every one of their major releases are completely different with different style and techniques. Listen to cruelty and the beast, then damnation and a day, nymphetemine, midian etc. and tell me that they don't sound different. Good bands don't need to stagnate and recycle the same fucking album over and over because that's just as much of a sell out as going "mainstream"

okay, seriously? quit complaining about his voice, with just Cradle Dani's been screaming at least 20yrs, that tends to do a bit to the voice does it not? at least the music is still really well put together and sounds good. go listen to the other bands i listened to growing up. while not bad, they aren't even this good anymore. slipknot, and linkin park being two big ones

i know all their stuf... i love cradle of filth that much that i have a tattoo of them but as a fan i dislike 4 album from them and that would b Nymphetamine, Thornography, Godspeed and Darkly but i still like some songs from those albums but the albums before those are the best.. that's the cradle of filth i know... and this new album i think is very good.. and yeah is true thats good their alwasy doing something different but i just don't like it lol.. but i still love them no matter what.

Why do all I see on here is people complaining about bands new stuff. I admit my first cradle album Darkly and I love that album but I also love cradle old stuff along with the new album.

I love EVERY, and I repeat EVERY album of COF [including Nymphetamine and Thornography which have a brilliant direction in my opinion] but Darkly, it's the worst album has ever been released. After listening to Manticore a few times, I gotta say it's a great album, back with the melodies and diversifying and not like Darkly, all about double bass and screaming like stupid. The thing is, Dani needs to rest a bit because his voice can't take it anymore.

Hmmm honestly. I haven't really seen Cradle change since their first album. But yeah, every album is unique.

cradle of filth died after Godspeed?? i don't think so.. i would say they died after Damnation... but this album kick ass.. i like it more than the last 2 albums or i would say than the last 4 albums after Damnation.. and his voice is understandable coz he's getting old and he's been screaming for many years so that's normal... they just don't wanna make music like they used to..

I just realised that the real problem with their latest songs are the melodies of the vocals! They re almost in the same range like they re in a hurry completing the album!and i didn't compare it with midian stuff or cruelty or even succubi! just listen to a random song from nymphetamine, let's say absinthe with faust... even with godspeed which i don't prefer, let's say death of love... pity guys! let's hope rest of songs be better!
