I really don't get what makes them so special. I am trying to understand where the musical magic happens, like I understand with tool and other bands. It doesn't sound bad, but it doesn't stand out to me either. I have been listening to metal music and hardcore, metalcore, for 20 years and I still don't get what makes thrashing a song until it's barely music so good. I just don't, and don't start foaming at the mouth, I can appreciate great musicianship, even if personally I don't find it to my liking. Madball sounds way better, hatebreed sounds way better (and here comes an angry mob of genre purists), Norma Jean or DEP even...This just sounds pretentious...

Eduard Rotaru music is subjective and we all here the brilliance in different things. Converge is a band where when you first listen too then you need to have several listens to really understand what makes them fucking great.

Converge is the best hardcore band. This is such a surprise banger of an ep. The dusk in us was fire too & they just put that out last year they're so awesomely consistent.

I don't know who this band is, but I have never seen a music video that captures my life and feelings so sharply. Fkin awesome.

You should really check out their record No Heroes. This isn't their best work, imho. They have done much better in the past.

I like this more than the their last album. It was solid, but I got a little bored with it.

Dude, this riff is fucking shit when compared to literally any riff in Axe to Fall, You Fail Me and Jane Doe.

I've moved onto a band called Employed to Serve from Britain. They have the more technical Converge sound with some Botch/Norma Jean thrown in. Last record was kind of groovy downtempo hardcore though.
