Connie Francis - Who's Sorry Now Lyrics

Who's sorry now
Who's sorry now
Who's heart is aching for breaking each vow
Who's sad and blue
Who's crying too
Just like I cried over you

Right to the end
Just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way
Now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now

Right to the end
Just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way
Now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now

This was my Great Uncle's (Harry Ruby with song partner Bert Kalmer) song, so beautifully sung! STILL, one of my favorite! Connie Francis knew how to sing it...what a voice!

  7. D.... B....

QUERIDA E INESQUECÍVEL, CONNIE FRANCIS. MUITAS RECORDAÇÕES DA MINHA INFÂNCIA.

  8. S.... M....

As easy on the ears as she was on the eyes.

  9. T.... S....

She has pipes and a smooth voice for sure. I take nothing from her. But up along side the voices of the time- Loretta, Patsy, she holds her own but Mamma Cass Elliot would have drowned her out. Don’t forget that Dolly was coming up and she could belt them out too. Connie did not sing ROCK! She sang POP. It’s the beat that makes the difference. Thinking back, they have all made life much sweeter and richer with their beauty and their voices than it would have been without them, so yes, put Connie in the Rock hall of fame.

  10. S.... L....

I agree why in the world is she not tn Rock Roll hall of fame what is wrong with these people who pick ones who are in there and really some don't belong. But she does

  39. G.... G....

Not me lol that's a promise

  40. k.... n....

I woke up this AM and I couldn't put an exact tune to it, but I could remember some of the words to a song that was in my head. No tune; couldn't remember if it was a man or a woman, just that it was an old song. I looked up the lyrics (without the 'net, I'd have driven myself crazy, trying to remember what song it was! ). I haven't heard this song in years and when I did, I was amazed at how strong Connie Francis's voice was. She was a Country singer! And are those the Jordanaires in the background? I was nine years old when it was popular!

  41. N.... H....

    Who's sorry now? Me

  42. k.... m....

  43. j.... p....

  45. P.... L....

how is she not in the HOF?

  46. a.... b....

One of the very few songs that doesn't need more cowbell.

  47. S.... ....

Connie is a legendary singer and her legacy will endure long after she will depart this plane of existence. A true master of "crying" a song with a voice filled with emotion and sensibility, her achievements speak for themselves.
Her life has been filled with strife and tragedy (she has been raped, her brother was shot to death, she lost the love of her life - Bobby Darin - because of her father's dislike of him, she struggled with mental disorders etc.) but I hope at least knowing that she has brought joy to so many with her divine voice that exudes sensibility will bring her some small comfort when she looks back on her life.

She also deserves credit for shaping ABBA's Agnetha Fältskog through her early years as a singer. Connie was Agnetha's idol and it seems to me she took after her idol well as Agnetha is also quite capable to "cry" a song and fill her voice with emotion. Thank you for that as well, Connie Francis!

    S.... ....

    Thank you for that info

Important Read!!! I just seen a story pop up! In 2008 A New York Times investigation has revealed that decades of Universal Music Group treasures burned in 2008 which are Masters and videos and much more of many famous singers and groups! I'm reading that universal held mgm recordings which would be Connie's????? Did she lose unreleased songs and masters!!!???????????? I am very upset. Please someone check into this and post it here for us to see :( This has to stop!!! All songs need to be released and not selfishly vaulted!!! Now we lost tons of music history and that is an extreme loss and very unfair to all of us.

"Fallin'" can be heard in the 1996 film The Craftin which the Helen Shaver character uses the insurance windfall she receives after her abusive husband is dispatched by her daughter's witchcraft to purchase a jukeboxstocked with Connie Francis singles. In 1999 Francis sued Universal Music Group – who by then held the MGM catalog – over "Fallin'"'s appearance in The Craft as well as the appearance of her songs in two other films (Postcards From America and Jawbreaker). The suit was dismissed.

In 2008 "Fallin'" was used in the UK in a television commercial for Special K. In September, 2012, Target started using the song in a new commercial.
