Connie Francis - Carolina Moon Lyrics
Carolina moon keep shining
Shining on the one who waits for me
Carolina moon I'm pining
Pining for the place I long to be
Scatter your light say I'm all right please do
Tell him that I'm blue and lonely dreamy Carolina moon
Carolina moon
Shining on the one who waits for me
How I'm hoping tonight you'll go go to the right window
Scatter your light say I'm all right please do
Tell him that I'm blue and lonely dreamy Carolina moon

Connie Francis Carolina Moon Comments
Nice to hear a song from the year I was born . Thanks Connie !! 12-10-19
Very nice version. Made famous by Morton Downey.
Was soll ich denn nun sagen, damals hat mir die Musik schon immer besser gefallen als heute, denn die ist für mich unsterblich.
I was born 1955 my mum used to sing this to me, she nicknamed me moon.
This brought back wonderful memories of my beautiful mum.
Gene Austin’s version is 1000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better. This is so terrible so I can not hesr it.
UK Hits Chart. 6 weeks @ #1 from 26/09/1958 to 06/11/1958, her 2nd number 1 for 1958 and also part 1 of a doubled A sided single
My grandad used to sing this to me :)
Hi carol Heal, is a beautiful song, thanks for the comment.
@Walt Eb Yeah it always brings back happy memories whenever I hear it : )
1958 - Got to No.1 in the Charts + Stupid Cupid "B" Side.
Thanks Bill for checking it out and have an awesome weekend.
One of the best female voices ever. This is the best version of this song I have ever heard.
Fantastic voice!!!
She sang not great. This gives me very bad feelings. I can’t hear it.
Won't you me send this [email protected] Grt John
She sang not great. I come here for hear her after more than 25 years. She was what I rememberd horrible. Gene Austin recorded this song many millions times better. Now I know I never hear Connie Francis again. And I really mean NEVER NEVER NEVER. She gives my only a resless heart and very bad feelings. People who says she sang beautifully have never heard Ada Jones,Aileen Stanley,Marion Harris and Esther Walker.
Are you tone deaf??
Ada Jones fan i
Ada Jones fan... I like the wistfulness in her voice
Ada Jones fan if you can’t say nothing nice...
all of this wonderful music of our younger days, will be in our minds for ever, and ever. Dennis Satterfield, retired US Navy.
My Mum sang this . R.I.P.
Jackie1957able Gene Austin recorded this song.
I fell in love with Connie Francis when I heard this song. It's a shame I was only seven at the time. Many thanks for uploading this great song, Walt Eb.
So did I. I bet there was'nt a boy older than 10 that did not have a crush on Connie Francis bewteen 1957 and 1964.
I was born when this was number one in the UK.. I remember my mother singing this song.. Happy days... RIP Mum xxx

Miss Francis does such a good job on this lovely, old tune. They just don't write music like this anymore! Thanks so much for posting it. God bless!
Hi 9860313, I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for listening and commenting. Walt
9860313 She was really terrible. Ada Jones was a fantastick female singer with a beautiful voice and delightful recording style. Francis is just terrible. I hate her voice
I remember flipping over my 45 of "Stupid Cupid" and loving this one as the B-Side as well.
+ernie garcia
Hi ernie, both songs are great, thanks for the comment. Walt

My Great Grandfather had 500 acres in Edenton, NC, way back when....And when I was a young boy, he would bring me out on the porch after supper, we would sing this song together. It is one of my fondest memories...
