Color Morale, The - Is Happiness A Mediocre Sin? Lyrics
Am I defined by the hell you left me in
Or the influence I make while living it?
Sometimes you find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere
But the middle of nowhere is where we find ourselves
And only time will tell how long we stay
The hardest part about feeling
Like life has fallen apart
Is that feeling for some of us
That it always will because it always does
I see that things are getting bad again
I'm not seeing you lately, you've been hiding
Let's get lost together in a new direction
We may not have it all together
But together we can have it all
Will tell how long we stay
The hardest part about feeling
Like life has fallen apart
Is that feeling for some of us
That it always will because it always does
You call it a demon
I call it self sabotage in hiding
You call it a demon
Or is happiness a mediocre sin?

Color Morale, The Is Happiness A Mediocre Sin? Comments
probably my favorite song of theirs on any album
This came out on my birthday two years ago.!
can we just take a minute to swoon over the guitar in the beginning?!? Or is it just me...
ICONIC.
the main guitar riff at the beginning has a really dream-like quality to it
Did a cover of this if ya'll wanna check it out on my channel. Love these guys and lyrics are absolutely beautiful
Reminds me of one of there older tracks, love it.
The Color Morale!! I really love it!
This song and Falling Awake are theTop 2 kick ASS songs for me of The Color Morale. But if I would choose only 1 it's gonna be Is Happiness A Mediocre Sin? This song is the songs i will use on the day of my burrial in the future when my coffin is already slowly putting down the ground.
ANYONE ELSE TRULY REMINDED OF OLDER COLOR MORALE WITH THIS SONG??? I wonder if this is song was meant to be fan service. Nostalgia up the yinYang! :)
I was just thinking that. I could easily see this song on "My Devil In Your Eyes". Definitely my favorite song on the album
Right? What do you think it is? Is it Garret's notes or the guitar?...or maybe the song structure... Someone needs to get to the bottom of this! haha!
@Youknowhimasmatt I can't really put my finger on it. Garrets voice did have a few parts that gave me a flash back from MDIYE. In the second verse I did like how the guitars were used. If you listen closely, in the background it sounded like an instrumental from Fill;Avoid. Something about this song makes me feel like im listening to MDIYE for the first time again. But, at the same time it still incorporates their new style of playing. Probably a little early to say but this song is in my top 5 TCM songs as of right now.
Yes! And honestly the only good song on the album
I love everything on this song
By far, my favorite song off the record
By far, my favorite song off the record
Blaaaaahhh Blaaaahhhhh Bllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Sounds nice
just an amazing song! i wished i saw them live at warped tour this year D:
This reminds me of falling awake
Man these lyrics hit me like a ton of bricks
I love the drums on this track
Easily the best song in the album
The little lead part at 2:13 reminded me of Alexisonfire.
holy crap yeah
Sounds like a watered down version of The Amity Affliction
You don't say
thats probably why i like them
@Alex Totterdell Reminds me of an old and good EP of The Dream The Chase, which unfortunately stopped recording after releasing "Found Again".
+Snu Harp and their clean vocalist joined DoD i think
