Collin Raye - What They Don't Know Lyrics

Three kids gathered in a huddle
Broomstick fishing pole hanging in a puddle
They think they can catch that big one anywhere
And I ain't gonna tell them
Boys there ain't no fish in there

'Cause what they don't know
Just might be a blessing
Don't get 'em second guessing
Let 'em dream without a doubt
'Cause if they don't know
It can't be done they just might do it
If no one can convince them
The odds are stacked against them
There's no telling how far they can go
On what they don't know

A child bride and a groom not much older
They've got a baby and the world on their shoulders
Six out of ten don't stand a chance to last a year
Oh but they're in love and they can't see that far from here

[Chorus]

[Repeat Chorus]

On what they don't know

Collin Raye What They Don't Know Comments
  1. G.... ....

my fave song from my childhood

  2. A.... F....

One of my favorites from Collin.

  3. C.... G....

I fell in love with this song as a teenager.  It told me that I could do any thing I set my mind to.  When I was a kid, my mother told me I couldn't be a soldier, or a firefighter like I wanted to be because I was too small, but I did both.  Now, hearing this song reminds me that you can do whatever you want, as long as you put your mind to it.

  4. M.... ....

    Obscure song is obscure.

  5. c.... ....

What a really nice song. Collin Raye is a rare and incredible talent that I have only just discovered. Never to late to find new things even if they are old. :)
