I don't know who does your promotion work, but I think they should be getting "Porch Swing" a lot more air time Damn fine song.

Awesome thing about CS is the hard hitting guitars that feed our need to GO. And then songs like Porch Swing that are good for Our Soul.

The band played in Trinidad on Saturday Sept 14th, and did this live for the very first time. Wish I had recorded it, but was too busy enjoying the show. It's one of the best tracks on Blood.

Its mostly about the overheated debate between those who want to protect Americas traditions and those progressive liberals who want to change everything: ITS MOSTLY ABOUT THE RACE RIOTS IN CHAROLETTESVILLE, BLACK LIVES MATTER AND THE METOO MOVEMENT. Theres some political, religious and social discontent from some of the newer Collective Soul songs , to be honest

"those who want to protect Americas [sic] traditions"...a truly wonderful way of saying that certain white people should rule the country, and be able to fuckover anyone they want. If only we could still beat, whip and kill people whenever we wanted...

The guitar riff in the beginning reminded me of their song 'After All'. The vocal is A though in this.

I agree a few songs bring back the 5th album to mind.

One of my top 3 tracks from the album. Easily captures the flavor of CS music at its best. Not too harsh to my ears. Cool sound, moves my body, I just need to raise my arms, and hold a lighter in my hands!
