You may not like their flavor of rock, but you can't deny that Coheed and Cambria raised up to give the new generation of rockers some f*cking hope. when it's their original formation playing together, the show is so unassuming and grandiose at the same time, you barely have time to realize what just hit you. they're a wall of sound, much like the Smashing Pumpkins were in the 90's. it's good to have these guys around.

I agree with everything you just said. I'll admit that I had to listen to their songs a second time just realize "huh, these guys aren't half bad".

By the third time, I realized "wow, these guys are amazing".

The fourth time " I can't get enough of these guys".

You know what, it's just easier to say they are the best band to have come out in a while.

Creative prog rock like this usually takes a couple of listens to fully digest and assimilate. You hear something new each time, and eventually listen so much the goodness becomes an extension of yourself. Music is the fucking number one thing for me.

I heard welcome home first. And kept going back to it.

Overture 1928 100% agreed. I didn't really know what to think about SSTB other than the intro my first listen. Same with Ascension and Good Apollo pt 2 now. I highly recommend for the first few listens to of all Coheeds albums to use quality headphones and as loud as is comfortable.

This fucking band inspired me to pick up the guitar again at 14 years old that I had played for a month and set down. Good Apollo 1 changed my damn life. As a 14 year old kid who was raised on Zeppelin, Purple and The Beatles. Coheed gave me everything I never even knew I needed. Started just before Good Apollo I was released an I've never looked back.

Best band of all time.

Coheed is one of my favorite live bands. They aren't the cleanest band, but they have so much emotion and good vibes. However, Slipknot is the best I've seen. Unbelievable through and through. Now we need a Coheed and Slipknot tour. Best of everything.

is Claudio from an Alternate Dimension at all? I mean with the stories he writes and his attitude while playing them reflect in a personal way :p

Coheed should be the biggest act in music.  But Taylor Swift is.  I think that's why I hate this world and just about everyone in it.

id really like to see that intro tabbed out. i mean ive gotten pretty close just playing by ear, but the subtleties in timing and that "user input" to it is a touch dificult to reproduce for some reason, love every bit of this song though.. every bit of this band to be completely honest.

God, Claudio looks to be about 10 years younger! Everything is so tight, and they're nailing their studio guitar tones with the axe fx's. Almost wish it was a little more raw..but I'm not complaining!

Saw them in Gothenburg this june, Was the best performance i've ever seen.

They all seem so much happier and try harder live now. So happy. Josh > Pennie for this band. Pennie is god though.

Pennie was not really fitting, even though hes a freakin overlord. Not a big fan of Eppard, mostly cause I know little of him besides the open handed thingy, but he feels more into the big picture.and blends beautifully

Losing Michael Todd on Bass was their biggest loss and haven't seem the same since he left the band.
