Claudio and guys, I just have to comment on how incredible this song is. It so perfectly encapsulates the last 3 years of my now 14 year old daughter's cancer diagnosis, fight, and recovery. Full of color she is, I still refuse to count her scars. Ironically, this was released 6 months before her diagnosis. I'm glad to have found it now along with refiring my deep love for Coheed. I will never stop being amazed, thank you for helping with recovery! #humbled

My daughter and I sang this song together. I'm in the middle of a divorce. Its so hard. I don't wish a divorce on anyone.

I don't know if the CoCa guys read this stuff or not, But its not hyperbole or exaggeration, when I say that this entire album as a whole helped get me to a place mentally where I wasn't afraid to have a child. For years it was literally my biggest fear. My son just turned one a few weeks ago, and this song, as well Atlas, Ghost and especially Peace to the Mountain, tho I'm sure it has very little to do with having a kid, but to me its about resigning yourself to who you've become, and being OK with defeat. (or in this case, ending up someone that you didn't plan on being, or maybe want to be.) Anyway tho thanks for making the music you do.

Love the music, have for seems like ages now. If only they didn't attempt to insert themselves into politics. Ruined memories. This is so good. god i hate C&C fans. I can tell the band just wants to make mellow intricate songs like this but have been forced to put out mediocre heavy songs cuz welcome home. and then you have the omg scene kids who refuse to let post hardcore just die and want C&C to bring it back.

The show here in Austin TX@ stubs was awesome! A fan among the fence all the way back to shabute.

Some fans might wanna crucify me for this, but I think this was Coheed's best album yet. It was nice to see them write songs that wasn't about Claudio's comic series. Some tracks with their subjects I think took the writing to a more genuine, emotional level that you can just feel. So yea, I actually hope they do more stuff like this album in the future.

sorry to be late but, Claudio's gone on record saying that the Amory Wars is just the top layer of Coheed's stuff - he kinda just hides behind it because he doesn't wanna express himself EXPLICITLY. For instance, he said IKSOSE song Faint of Heart was about him and his wife's phone sex while on tour (he said this in the 2 hour documentary that came on the exclusive Afterman record), etc.

Coheed is personally my favorite band. I first listened to them when I was a little kid, and recently rediscovered them. Their music has personally had a large, emotional impact on my life, especially when I was going through a rough time in my life. Thank you Coheed and Cambria for such relatable and thoughtful music.

There was pain, sadness, confusion, days when you think that tomorrow won't be better, but there was happiness, too, and for both, you had Claudio and the gang there. These guys were there through thick and thin and they didn't even know it.
