CHIC - Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah) Lyrics
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Keep on dancing
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Just dancing to the beat
I'm moving my feet
Heading towards the floor
Gotta get down
Get down some more
Rumba and tango
Latin hustle too
(Yowsah, yowsah, yowsah)
I wanna boogie with you
Papapapapa
Papapapapa
Papapapapa
Papapapapa
Ooh, what a treat
Feels so sweet (Ah)
That body heat
When I'm dancing with my baby
Drives me crazy
Makes me hazy
Rumba and tango
Latin hustle too
(Yowsah, yowsah, yowsah)
I wanna boogie with you
Papapapapa
Papapapapa
Papapapapa
Papapapapa
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Keep on, keep on
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Keep on dancing
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Keep on, keep on
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Keep on dancing

The days of studio 54 in NYC dance clubs were The hottest thing to go especially Friday night and Saturday nights too miss the memories of good old NYC
Rather let down by that 'comedic' yousah, yousah shit.
What say you chaps?
Edwards and Rogers what a dynamic duo and certainly don't forget Tony Thompson. Essentially what they did is they took the idea of disco and set it up to the same conventions of a rock band. They broke past the R&B structure. As it turns out Bernard and Niles produced a lot of rock records. Unbeatable sound
This is Nile Rogers
I am so lucky to have been in the room during the filming of a PBS documentary of Nile Rogers last year, at the McKittrick Hotel, not used as a hotel, in NYC. Sitting literally 2 feet away. My daughter Stephanie is on staff in charge of publications promoting upcoming events.
The white girl in this pic was not ready for her close up Mr dimmel
Of course it was death before disco.... But that was the disco lifestyle that was referenced, which had become a rude caricature of itself.... Lucky there plenty of Quaaludes around to keep the poseurs from actually getting up in their feet and attempting to dance.... Sir Nose often used this Quaalude cop out... But as far as the disco music was concerned, much of it was actually FUNK and as such transended the normal bounds of human reality bringing enlightement, with Gene Gene the Dancing Machine always dancing somewhere, the Chakravartin of the new pure Buddha Land, Krishna and his milkmaids dance the Hustle... DO IT....
