Anyone else here just to see if Liam's girlfriend can sing. I have never herd her before, she sounds pretty good to me.

shes pretty big over here in the uk (less so for being a singer), she is not a natural singer though, the first part she comes in on this song is horrifically out of tune. Singers in girlbands tend to be picked for a variety of things and singing generally comes last. Although there always tends to be one better singer. Cheryl wasnt that in Girls Aloud though.

Everyone has their own taste in music so all those immature brats that are screaming hater or anything of that likeness should just stop and realize not everyone has the same mindset. Just because someone does not like the same things you do, gives you no right to call them out or have a little "hissy fit". Cheryl isn't the best singer but she is mediocre and as long as people enjoy her music, there will be people who hate her music as well. I personally do not like her mannerism or her voice but I am not going to say she can not sing. Everyone is entitled to speak their mind and have their own opinion so no, it's not pathetic or hateful for people to comment what they think.

I listened to this over and over again after the first time I heard it. It's so beautiful I am so glad she selected this for her album. The some of the comments here are fairly cruel. I'll admit she does sound like she may have been drowned out but before you go there remember she sang with a group. So she's use to blending her voice so the group has one sound that's distinct. She doesn't have a powerhouse voice but its not bad either so lay off.  Yes there are other good singers out there but she's fortunate and I don't think she takes her position for granted compared to some other "artists" out there.

@Mubble Mann she does co-write songs. there are so many more artists who are a lot bigger than Cheryl and don't write ANY of "their" songs.

All they do is run the already-written songs past her before she records her vocals. She has no creative input other than changing one or two words. Like you say, there are many more like her. It's shameful.
