First time I heard this on the radio I was all " Nah, this can't be Cheap Trick ". These boys need to pursue this line of thinking because this tune fucking rawks.

I didn't know Cheap Trick put out a new album this year. They just put out a album in 2016 "Bang Zoom Crazy Hello" , and that took 7 years. The last time Cheap Trick put out a new album in back to back years was 1985-1986 "Standing on the Edge " and "The Doctor". There average is 3 to 4 years between new albums. I will be buying this new album asap.

I love them and have stuck with them since 78. I have a feeling this album is gonna be a rocker. Bang Zoom is great but this is the sound I want to hear.

Pure to the core CT! The band has been rejuvenated and have not disappointed. Gives me even more motivation to see them EVERY time they are close by. I think I am redoing my definition of "close" as well

I agree. I will say this though, ever since Daxx has been the drummer, they have gotten more adventurous and have had longer setlists which is great, but Bun is such a big part of their sound that it really doesn't sound right without him. It's such a catch 22 situation. I do miss seeing Bun behind the kit though.

ModernDayWarrior2112, Glad they had an awesome run for so long and love their catalog up to Rockford. People can continue to enjoy the band but, I can't get into the Bunless CT. The set lists seem better but, the sets don't seem much longer. For me, better set lists don't make up for the new sound. I had no idea how much Bun added to their sound, till he left. And, when I hear them play, all I can think of is, Bun is missing.

Are you the Bruce from Not Lame? Not Lame was awesome. I bought a lot a great stuff from you going back some 20 years or so- even the Jellyfish and Posies box set! Not only is June 16th the release of a new Cheap Trick album, but Matthew Sweet has a new album on that day, too. 2017 is turning out to be a good year for power pop. Even Cotton Mather has a new album out and maybe Roger Joseph Manning will have one out later this year!

Yup...that would be me. :-) It was a good, good run for Not Lame w/ the label and distribution from 1994-2010...it was a great period for 'power pop'....

By-the-numbers rocker with lame lyrics and a mediocre chorus. Geez, how many 'tributes' to AC/DC and Aerosmith does this band 'need'? Robin, who is still a great singer, manages to belt out all the hard rock cliches used by lesser bands in this song. It seems like the band is just scraping by when they have to dig 'Radio Lover' (which is not much better than this song) out of the Red Ant trash bin.

Cheap Trick forever. This is a great song and could fit perfectly on the last one. It's gonna be another classic album. Cheap Trick has been my favorite band since 1979 and the last four albums including Cheap Trick 97, Rockford, The Latest and Bang Zoom Crazy Hello (not mentioning Special One, which wasn't in my opinion) have become my top four favorite albums in their canon. I'm blown away how they can put out this quality so many years later. Most bands rest on their laurels and put out compilation albums or re-recordings, but Cheap Trick has proven over the last twenty years that they are greatest band of all time. I wish they could invent a drug so that they could live forever.
