The bass sounds awesome in Listen to Me. Didn't expect something all polished up like Floating Down, but completely love it! One of the best songs in the album.

Man, who produced this? It's sound like they're working with either Douglas or Werman, whoever did this, got it right. Being Chicago-area still, this is what I remember what made these guys who they are. I remember seeing them in the clubs here back yonder............MUCH better than 90% of "Bang, Zoom, Crazy, Hello"................

How can only 6 people not like this? I was hoping for more...! I feel better when others don't get them. lol I was one who was changed by their first album though it was Heaven Tonight and In Color where i was first hooked. They can write fluff and pop hits (which is no small task and one they do very well) but when they slide in a tune that you can tell comes from the heart and soul of the band it's gold to us fans! Great job on this guys! Hot love to you all...!

I heard Cheap Trick live a few years back on the TV and Robin sounded like he was done.  Voice was terrible and thought he was losing it.  Doesn't sound like it here.  Great cuts.

Floating Down is an amazing song that reminds me of why I love these guys. Over 40 years together and still making inspired music....unbelievable!

wahoodal0896 it needs to be used on some TV show or a commercial ... something to give it exposure and people start asking, who sings that song... this way, anyone that has any preconceived notions of the band, will listen to Floating Down, with a truly open mind... have to be sneaky to get past that wall of misconceptions

It will be 3 CD's in the last 2 years soon. Cheap Trick will also be releasing a new Christmas CD towards the end of this year.

These guys deserve a lot more attention then they get........this is a great album.....and I think it's interesting that Tom Peterson has a lot more writing credits and some of the songs really feature him.......he tears it up on lolita......great to see a band just let it rip when they are mid sixties.......it's crazy that there is no one to play this stuff on the radio and the crap you hear....it's fine d myself just shutting the radio off.....it's can't imagine the good stuff no one hears

They surpassed themselves again. As much if not more energy than they had in 1977. The bass playing at the end of "Listen To Me" shows just that. And they were mind blowers back then.

Great Job! Just bought CD Deluxe version because of your helping to spread JUST HOW AMAZING this new CD really is. You gotta do another version of this style. I just suggest these as your next 4 tunes off it. But do what you think is best. My favorite are these 4. #1 The rest of my life #2 Brand New name on an old tattoo #3 Nowhere #4 You got it going on. The first time I saw Cheap Trick was September 2, 1978 at Day on the Green #5, Oakland Coliseum Stadium. They Kicked Ass then and continue to Rock!! Cheap Trick Forever!!!

Like A Fly, Lolita, are my favorites but the whole thing is awesome and very much old school CT, there might not be any "hits" but give it a patient listen and you will be rewarded!

Paul Bordelon this reminds me of the early energy and style. It truly makes me feel like they are finally going back to their own influences again. I like a lot.
