Not sure why this song wasn't a bigger hit. It's super catchy! Unfortunately, Epic didn't feel like they could write their own songs after this album. The Flame, Don't Be Cruel, and other stuff from Lap of Luxury is good but just doesn't hold as sweet because the band didn't write it. It's good Tom Petersson came back right after this though.

Alright guys, Wang Chung called, they want their video back. But, your song is still 10 times better.

Catchy tune!  Sounds like it would have been radio friendly. I was 10 years old in 1986, so I don't remember if it received much air time. I've never heard it played on any top 40 radio station (that plays 70's, 80's music or classic rock station) over the last several years. It must have not done well as a single. The band had been together over 10 years by this point & would have their biggest success two years later with 'The Flame'.  Interesting career that they've had, you can never get bored with their catalog of music.

I believe that it was the only single released from their "The Doctor" album and it made it into the top 20 as well in 1986.

I saw the world premier of this video on mtv . wasn't played much more after that.

Oct 1986 that was filmed. It was a great song too bad it didn't do well. I had fun that day. Love telling people I was in that video even if it was just for a second.

I remember when MTV did a 'World Premiere' for this video. This might be the only really good song on that album. Too bad the video is little too much like Wang Chung.

How cool. The little doctor at the bottom is signing the song in ASL.

Cheap Tick should redo this with Craig Ferguson, and his musical cast: Japanese

I had the honor to sit and talk with the band at my Holiday inn in Wilmington NC. before they played for the troops at camp lejeune.. down to earth guys who deserve more recognition ..

It's very 80's, with makes sense.
The cast of characters is what maeks this video undesireable. Maybe a case of the powers that be giving a band no choice but to comply. However, I do like the sign language person.
Mostly, I like the parts that focus on the band. Robin's interpretation is awesome per usual.
Just wish those characters were missing.

This video would be unbearable if not for the sign language surgeon in the bottom right corner.
Which was probably the point.
I frickin love this band.

Laurrhi at the time, they were playing in a bar by a school for the deaf, I remember reading an interview of Rick saying it was kinda weird, the deaf kids would come and dance, but not clap at the end of songs. It's one of my favorite things about this band, they truly appreciate all their fans.
