Some people (like Travis Ryan for instance) can't help but be offended by the story of a guy who helped a lot of people with both his words and actions, healed a lot of people, defied his local religious leaders (yes you read that correctly; I said "defied his local religious leaders"), and was ultimately executed for the sake of keeping the people from trying to overthrow the government. There's a lot more to the story of Jesus than just a bunch of religious stuff. Poor little butthurt atheists are too busy being butthurt at Christians to think about being mad at actual Christians, and instead say shit like "fuck your God" this and "useless fairytale" that. (I believe I'm actually quoting Travis on that second one). It's about as cliche as a Christian saying "would you like to talk about our lord and savior Jesus Christ". Frankly it gets old and annoying real fast. If someone wants to write some anti-religious stuff, then they should write something that speaks of the religion itself, as it currently stands. Something about the way some Christians still think metal is "the devil's music", and how it's all personal opinion. You know, write something that's actually relevant to modern life? But no, they have to specifically attack the biblical characters whom they don't actually believe in to begin with. It's so stupid, I die a little inside every time I read a lyric that sounds that uninspired.
Also, the Bible is historical. The books it's compiled of are very old. The Bible contains songs and poems, letters, ancient customary rules (some decent, some not so much), and some historical accounts taken by people who lived during that time. Saying that Jesus didn't exist is like saying that Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle didn't exist. These philosophers were dead long before Jesus was ever born, but apparently there's no doubt that they existed. A valid point would be "well we don't know for 100% sure that Jesus was the 'son of God'". That I'd understand, but denying the fact that he lived at all just feels drastic.
I could say more, but I think the reply is already long-winded enough.

@Evan R I think it's partly that (though I don't think it's saying that you *can't* live that way, just that it's suicidal to do so) but there are also a couple secondary points made.

These lines are fairly obviously a statement on how those in power have used Christianity to keep their followers subservient and hating who they need them to. "Opiate of the masses" and all that.

This line is either reinforcing that last point or bringing up the problem of evil.

There are also lines calling religion illogical and ignorant throughout, and the mention of being "unclean" is possibly a reference to those othered by the church.

Overall it's a pretty standard Nietzsche style "Christianity is slave morality" take with some modern moral outrage at the church sprinkled in, which is a perfectly fitting message for a song that goes this fucking hard.

there's three ways to listen to music. 1) To listen to something because it sounds nice or feels good, or has a catchy hook. 2) To throw something on in the background to set a mood. 3) To ACTIVELY listen to a track from a musician's perspective, and essentially listening for complexity and virtuosity.
Once you get used to listening in the style of 3, a little bit of 1 kicks in and you learn to enjoy the visceral onslaught of riffs and rhythm, bobbing or perhaps even banging your head.

Who cares whether it's death metal or grindcore? Classifying its genre will not change the sound of the song, so what's the point?
Just listen to the damn song, and if you don't like it, change it.
