Some years ago, a trusted friend told me to get this album. I decided to give it a try. My local record store had Songbird and Time After Time. I bought Songbird, took it home, and gave it a listen. Breathtaking and bittersweet... the most angelic voice taken by cancer before her time. Listening to this I can't help but think of all the people I've lost to cancer, it brings up happy and sad memories. Her voice is hauntingly beautiful and stirs up something complicated and entirely human ❤
