what have I done?
I just quit my job of just over 7 1/2 years.
You have already granted me a better job with full benefits but I hoped to work both long enough to pay off my $500 credit card debt and give them plenty of notice so they could prepare before I left.
I know they all saw it coming and I hope tonight wasn’t them trying to push me out to get it over with. They’ve all been helpful to me and I’ve helped them the same.
I’ve been super stressed since April because that job didn’t allow me to get a loan for a house and the managers (the owner’s daughters) are running the place into the ground.
I’ve been asking you for a while now what I should do or to please change my life somehow. I hope I’m following your plan because I’m seriously afraid! I’m not the fearful type. I’m shy and passive but that’s from too much solitude. You already know that though.

Dear Lord, please let me know if I made the right decision tonight.

I mean, I didn’t think of it then but I’ll get my last check from there in two days. I was so stressed on the way home trying to figure out how I was going to eat and put gas in the truck to get to the new job for the next two weeks and still pay all my bills. It wasn’t until I got home and tried to figure out a plan that I saw that I’m gonna be ok.
I keep hoping the stupidity that happened tonight was part of your plan and not just me being a jerk.

You’ve helped me for the past 35 years and you’ve always been the only one to help me grow so I trust and hope that you’ll continue.

I read his book, watched his movie The gospel road, reading his son's book about his father. He struggled with demons in his life, but always had Jesus beside him. You are missed deeply Johnny and June.

Hey Eric, I hate to give you a long winded response, but please read the rest of my comment and it would be my great hope that you see the answer of God punishing creation in a new light. In the biblical account, God created mankind. God created them in His own image and let them rule over all the animals of the Earth. God created a paradise for them, and let them have perfect fellowship with Him. God said do not eat from the Tree of Life, for you will die. Mankind in return rebelled against God. God had every right to punish mankind. He even could have ended their lives at the very second that they rebelled against Him, but instead God had mercy on them. God let them see many more days on earth, He clothed them in their nakedness, and He continued to take care of them and bless them. Today, mankind continues to rebel against Him (by disobeying His commands that are written down in the Bible. This means that you and I are lawbreakers. The Bible says that God is our judge, and once we sin, we are guilty. God would be corrupt if He just let us go, without us paying the penalty for our sin. A just penalty is eternity in hell. But because God is rich in mercy, do you know what He did so that we may not have to go to hell? He sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth 2000 years ago, to live the perfect life (He never sinned) and died for those who would repent of their sins and trust in Him as Lord. He was the perfect sacrifice. He paid the penalty of sin for everyone who would repent of their sins and follow after Him as Lord.

3 days after Jesus had died on the cross, He was resurrected. He is all-powerful. He demonstrated that He even has power over death. Likewise, when we follow after Christ, we are dying to our old nature and taking up new life.
