I generally enjoy Jeremy Camp but he is cutting the lyrics too short and I can hear every breath he takes into the microphone starting off. I think he could record this again and try not to rush it. It isn't a statement to blurt out as quick as you can, it is a declaration in the form of several questions. The time or the tempo is just a tad too fast .

this is a beautiful version, I love this song for CHRISTmas a non religious holiday, the day for Christians, non religious also, remember the birth of our Saviour, His teachings, His sacrifice, and His resurrection.

This music is not beautiful in any way to me. The lyrics are ridiculous.
This song and all of his others sound morbid and depressing. Aren't we supposed to make a joyful noise? Does the tempo of this song, the tones seem joyous? If I play it at 1.5x normal speed it might sound a little more joyful.

The lyrics are ridiculous as well. 'Mary did you know?' Of course she was clueless until it happened. Then she knew. Then she died. Why is he repeatedly asking a question to a dead person? She's not answering you now or ever.

This new generation of 'Christian Music' does not bring people together with a joyful spirit. It makes people withdraw into a shell and isolate themselves. The churches of today love playing this crud to hopefully make people feel sad and depressed and then want to feel better, get saved...and dump some cash in the offering plate.

Sickening....and you people consider yourself Christians? This is at the root of what's wrong with Christianity today.

Make a JOYFUL NOISE. Why are you sad and depressed when you have been saved by the blood of Jesus?

Well I'm Christian because i follow Christ, and i attend a Catholic church! That's your opinion, just respect other religions, and beliefs

Both Religions are flawed as all religions are so stop arguing .
But just to clear things up , Mary was just a lady chosen by God to carry Jesus of Nazareth into the world , and holds no particular significance other than being pure and the ability to bear a child . This is the only special attributes the bible gives her . The emphasis put on her is purely from religious endoctrination and not from any "true" biblical basis. Also , it's better to inform than to condescend , but considering how hypocritical religious people tend to be , I am not surprised .
