Call Me Karizma - Introduction Lyrics






Hi, I'm Call Me Karizma, and this is me going track by track through my new EP The Gloomy Tapes, Vol. 1.
"Angel" is a song I wrote about growing up in a home with my mother who is, bad in alcoholism, ever goes through shit and I know a lot of people can relate to what I said on that track, so I thought I'd be good to start the album with that.
"God (Damnit)" is a song about me being on the road, touring and have a girl back home, and fucking up a lot. and her still loving me for some reason, and there's kinda me being like "god damnit, how can you still love me?" you are so perfect, and I'm just, you know, I'm messed up.
"Rockstar" is a song I wrote over a year ago now, and it's me kinda saying what I wanted from the start, like I wanted to be a rockstar, have money, clothes and [?] you know, like that old thing, but it turned out more into less about that and more about me advocading what I believe in.
"Johnny" is about a mentally ill kid who does some fucked up shit and I wrote that [?] about that, I do mental issues aswell, I was thinking so why not write about that, something that doesn't get enough, like, these kids need help and they're not getting it, and I think it can lead to terrible events like school shootings and shit, so I just wanted to speak on that.
the final song is called "Let Me Go" it's about from the time I wrote my first song when I was ten years old to twenty-two and planning headline shows across the country, and it was just like kind of showing my growth, and it was just kind of to my parents saying "yo, let me go, let me do this shit" like, I can prove you and a bunch of people that you're wrong and that is all love, you know, so, I thought that was a great outro for the first EP, so, I think you guys can fuck with it, this is my life, no filters, here we go.

    I love you so much. I love the meanings of all your songs, I haven't seen this video in a while, and I cried watching it again. I love you so much and I wish I could explain it in words but I don't think I can. Lately I've been getting bullied for my diabetes and I've been called fat, ugly, annoying, I lost my best friend who I went through everything with, to popularity. I remember last year being in the car crying my eyes out because my best friend that kept me from crying in the hospital when I was diagnosed, the friend that sent me stupid pictures of my celebrity crushes with their girlfriends with the girls face cropped out with a picture of mine just to keep me from commting suicide because of my drunk dad, she left me for a more popular girl, and just listening to all the songs we used to jam out to together and Rockstar was one, and my auto played Angle next and I remember me just crying 1,000,000 times more. 😢 Your songs truly do help me, every day I think about committing suicide and then think, if I committed suicide, I wouldn't get to marry Morgan, or go to his concert. 😂 I love you so much! ❤ (I joke about being his girlfriend but, I'm actually REALLY ugly, and WAY to young for Morgan, I like to think he'd like me but,I have no chance!)

    Wow, the girls in my grade all hate him cuz they say he cusses too much, they all think he sucks and he can't sing and he's just like any other rapper who only sings about drugs and alcohol and stuff like that, but Call Me Karizma sings about real problems that a lot of people experience. And he's an amazing singer and he's VERY different from everyone else. He cares about his fans and the world. A bunch of girls made fun of me and teased me because I like Riz but it's hard not to like someone who has been through the same thing as you and has felt the same emotions as you.
