Everything they've made is pretty great, but if you're just getting started, pick up "Perfect From Now On" and "Keep it Like a Secret". They're not just Built to Spill's best work, they're seriously some of the greatest indie rock albums ever recorded.

I remember one time years ago I was leaving Madison WI, after a concert for some random band and I was getting high with my friend who took me there. I forgot to get on I94 back to Milwaukee and we listened to this album and that Modest Mouse album "this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about" on the way... We didn't realize where we were or that we had made a huge mistake until it was about 4 in the morning and we never got home.. Needless to say.. I love this album and this song.
