hey danny smith in alaska..did you happen to cook at the pier house when you were in key west back in 1975?....i knew a cook we all worked with there...named danny...we knew another cook named ronnie too..he lived right across the street from the green parrot..he emptied the parrot one halloween and we all tried to smoke a lb..lol...but only got thru 4 oz..must have been 50 people in his house that nite..one couple came in only bow ties and tennis shoes...a hot blonde too....it was so long ago....hard to remember any one's name that i worked with..but danny and ron i remember...

i used to listen to this song at the boat bar in key west fla....way before jimmy ever went national like he is today....I loved this song even then...I used to hang out with a shrimp boat captain...he was barely 25 yrs old....but I was only 18 so he seemed so much older than us......he would show up every 3 weeks or so and we would hit the taverns....I miss that island to this day....we had some good times down there...
