I'll never understand why he didn't try to have a solo career. His voice is so good, he was the voice of Bucks Fizz. The mess they've all made of the fight over the name sounds like a lot to do with his controlling wife :-/

Katie Fraser Did you know he composed the theme tune to Les Dennis & Dustin Gee’s Laughter Show too? There was a song version performed by Bucks Fizz, then later series just had an instrumental.

great series...i paid £100 for season 2 and 3 on disc,some guy converted it from vhs...it is watchable,but we dont now how spoilt we are with dvd and blue ray,vhs it jumps,the tracking flickers,but that was all we new...so if anyone does want season 2 and 3 i would copy them for a small fee,my email is [email protected] season 1 is available to buy from bbc video.or amazon..great vid splash....cheers steve..

Ray Brooks has been my hero since 1996 when UK Gold repeated Big Deal, before that he was my Dad's hero in the 80s, when I was told to sit still and behave whilst he watched it :]
