Buckingham, Lindsey - Love Is Here To Stay Lyrics
Tender was your miracle
Tender was your whispered voice
As I lay this soul to rest
Even though I stayed too long
Even though I had no choice
Wind blows one way
Time goes
But love is here to stay
When the stars come out at night
When the moon is full enough
I will lay this soul to rest
Brook of flowers, hearts of stone
Even though I played too rough
Wind blows one way
Time goes
But love is here to stay
In the blue and gray
We ran out to play
Seems like yesterday
Tender was your miracle
Tender was your whispered voice
As I lay this soul to rest
Even though I stayed too long
Even though I had no choice
I will do what I do best
Wind blows one way
Time goes
But love is here to stay
Wind blows one way
Time goes
But love is here to stay

Buckingham, Lindsey Love Is Here To Stay Comments
Christine 74 years old here. Amazing...music keeps you young
great song, great album...dig it
A beautiful song. Lindsey Buckingham is amazing and it's so sad he is no longer with Fleetwood Mac. That's my opinion anyway. I am glad to have had the opportunity to attended my first and last Fleetwood Mac concert in 2015, despite Fleetwood Mac being my favourite band since the mid seventies.
Absolutely no other two old farts could do this 😍It has to be a new Heineken add..
Did Christine sing😂😂 only hear Linds
Praying for Lindseys full recovery! 💘
Pretty damned good. That’d have been a good FM track...
Nothing like great music.
This is a great song
Christine looks and sounds amazing
and 74 years old
Now this is fleetwood mac to me Rock on Lindsey & Christine
My people. Love them, or you will learn to.
its great... Lindsey needs to be solo. he is so good. leave him alone. Fleetwood Mac is just fine.
Lindsey Buckingham is always superb
Amazing!
Great guitar by Lindsey as always. Fantastic harmonies. Christy looks great.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c0bBKCKQOk Watch this and tell me she can sitll sing ??? Bloody awful. Great in her day but time to give up .....dear Fast forward to 4.20
Awful......
It's nice to see them do another album and perform, but for me this 'live performance' is way too ABBA for me.
Christine still looks very good.
(Amazing actually) so glad she came back. I missed her....
Absolutely wonderful.Super harmonies and lovely guitar work.tTony O'Sullivan
Beats the stuffing out the crap in the charts. Two musical icons still have it! Harmonies remind me of the magic produced in the Tusk album, their best album IMO. Pity the harmonies and instruments aren't mixed and quite as clear in the album version of this though.
This is very lovely. I'm glad Christine came back. It was the right thing because now they can really tie up the loose ends and say goodbye properly. I think it's reaching that stage, sadly.
What kind of a crowd was that? That's a great song!!!
This is amazing! There's something wrong with anybody who would run either of these 2 brilliant souls down. Such great talent! And it never gets old.
While Steve skates, Fleetwood Mac released a new album )
Although Lindsey is extremely talented, this is lacking without Stevie.
Yeah, no. I hate to break it to all the rabid Stevie Nicks Fanboys/Fangirls out there on YouTube, but Stevie does NOT have the magic, musical "Midas Touch" you all have fooled yourselves into thinking. In fact, her songwriting / voice haven't been good since about 1987.
Bloody brilliant.
The only shame is this isnt
an official Fleetwood mac album.
it's a matter of labeling, as John and Mick also worked on it.
Still got it, boom
The bad news: this is commercial soft rock.
The good news: at least they know how to write a song, as opposed to apparently every songwriter younger than them.
The song is "POPULAR" music which was and is always commercial; a tradition of great Pop song writers. Gershwin,Cole,Lerner & Lowe, Rogers & Hammerstein, Goffin/King,etc,etc. I wouldn't say bad news.
They've always made commercial rock. This is a bit safer than some of their 70s stuff, but that's hardly surprising.
Wonderful!
Christine McVie will be 74 years old on July 12th. Still looking good for 74.
She is amazing.I am sick and tired of people running her down. Could they do better when they are 74..... I don't think so.
I was lucky enough to see them in concert in NY last night, after waiting 40 years (I have seen Stevie solo, and Mac with a different line up); what a fantastic show, they both sounded great, and Christine is gorgeous! I haven't seen her step out from behind the keyboards many times, but what a lovely shape! She puts me to shame! <3
Those 10 years down in devon? raising geese must have worked miracles :)
ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS PUT OUT THIS YEAR !!!!
The guitar sounds like what Lindsey did with the song, 'She Acts Like You,' off of the 'This is 40' soundtrack.
Unnecessary Jazz Yesssss! But I prefer this song
Nice little guitar thing going and of course the harmonizing of those two voices still works. Wish Christine's mic were up a bit louder.
KUDOS !!!!!!THEN PLAY ON!
BEAUTIFUL
I'm 90% sure that some of the backing vocals are pulled directly from the album.
Well of course, but only some of the background harmonies, to make it fuller, since there's only two of them singing. It's programmed into the keyboard.
CarryingNoCross agreed
These two ppl seem to be the only level headed of Fleetwood Mac as I've watched them through thick n thin through the years since 1975. N Nick's is no picnic.
Kathy Hays apparently not even Christine is level headed, just Lindsey.
Great to see Christine making music again. Just beautiful!
Baci302 I'm sure Lindsay thinks so to. it will happen.
Amazing! I am so proud and happy for Christine and Lindsey. They sound so good!
Love love this. You can almost hear Witchy Nicks on backround vocals here. If only she could have been part of this.
That's Stevie's Drummer Jimmy P.
DALLAS70 at 4:12 her spirit rides in harmony. so glad I'm not the only one to "here" her
love this song!
So awesome to see them together performing! I wore out my Fleetwood Mac Rumors album and had to by another one back in the day! I wish both of them much success with this album. I'll be purchasing it for sure. I hear they are touring this summer as well.
Those harmonies! Just love these two collaborating together to create this new music, the magic is still there!
So beautiful
FYI CBS - Christine is also (obviously) their keyboardist/pianist, and Lindsey sings too, and they both write songs! Let's not minimize either of their many gifts!
Abbey Fisher oh I don't. And I know their next move. Especially at their age. Now they'll get together as the norm of this group seems to go.
Abbey Fisher I'm tired of people complaining about Stevie's absence...personally I find Lindsey and Christine more talented these days.
Stevie has goat voice..
I know, but I like it :)
