Buckcherry - Sloth Lyrics
[Chorus]
Now I’m without you and I just can’t hide it
You’ll never know anything that I feel inside.
You know I still love you, but I stay divided
Cause I always hated your suicide.
[Verse]
I guess you’ll never bother
Looking back.
Call me up to say your last goodbye.
Did you think that I could just let you go?
I wish I could’ve said the words still
To save you.
[Chorus]
You’ll never know anything that I feel inside.
You know I still love you, but I stay divided
Cause I always hated your suicide.
How could you leave us behind?
I was only a boy.
And you made mother cry,
So I burry my grief far below, deep inside,
What else could I do?
You’re gone and it’s true,
We saved your life, cuts like a knife.
[Bridge]
It’s always hard to leave the past behind
I hope someday I’ll get the chance to, to tell you
[Chorus]
Now I’m without you and I just can’t hide it
You’ll never know anything that I feel inside.
You know I still love you, but I stay divided
Cause I always hated your suicide.
I always hated your suicide.

Buckcherry Sloth Comments
This is such a great song, although sad I'm sure many can relate. I for one various reasons lost my Father 1999 he was a POW in WWll for 9 months, the hell he went through I can only imagine as he only spoke about what he eat to stay alive and how the Natzis would bring Jewish women in front of them and cut their breast off. So 3 yrs later my sister/best friend came to visit me and my boys she spent 2 nights next day I find her dead of enlarged heart she was 43. Had a nephew 32 pass from shooting up oxycontins this was my only Brothers first born, it affected him so bad a month after his 59th Birthday he shot himself in the head. Oh after my sister's death I lost my husband of 20 years. Which had a bad impact on my then 14 year old son. He rebelled so badly I couldn't control him, finally at 17 he Graduated High School and just Graduated college October 11, he served 6 years in the Army living in Germany, they really made him a tuff young man. My reason for writing all this, if it helps one person somehow then I'm thankful. When you feel all alone there's better days ahead, I've had many times I wanted to end my life but then God always stops me. ❤️&🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 To all who have lost someone special in their life, it's a hard road but I believe they will be waiting on us when it's our time to go. #buckcherry number 1 band ever!💯❤️❤️❤️
What a song. Amazing!
Now I’m without you and I just can’t hide it
And you’ll never know anything that I feel inside
You know I still love you, but I stay divided
'Cause I always hated your suicide
I guess you’ll never bother
Looking back
Call me up to say your last goodbye
Did you think that I could just let you go?
I wish I could’ve said the words still
To save you
Now I’m without you and I just can’t hide it
And you’ll never know anything that I feel inside
You know I still love you, but I stay divided
'Cause I always hated your suicide
How could you leave us behind?
I was only a boy
And you made mother cry
So I bury my grief far below, deep inside
What else could I do?
You’re gone and it’s true
We saved your life, cuts like a knife
It’s always hard to leave the past behind
I hope someday I’ll get the chance to, to tell you
Now I’m without you and I just can’t hide it
