bryan sang really well.. almost as good as gilmour..

bryan does a great cover here. granted he's not the most prolific guitarist but he's never claimed to be.he's always been a meat and potatoes rocker and proud of it. his vocals have always delivered. you should also check out his cover of behind blue eyes. he tears it up. i actually prefer it to the original. the man is infamous for performing with all the great rockers and pop stars of the last 30 something years. i don't think that's a fluke. let all the hate commence to my comment.

Add to it that just before he went on they lost all the monitors and playing to a large crowd with no monitors is not a good start.

The original wasn't perfect. It was good but compared to this, it sounds dull & lifeless. This version is much more energetic, harder rocking and Bryan's voice is perfect.

Make your mind up on what you expect from covers. The question is "was this cover a total waste?" NO. Was this enjoyable? definitely YES. Both versions are great, I'm a big fan of Floyd and Gilmour. I was only defending Adams as a singer, with all these others commenting on his guitar skills.

This was a once in a lifetime show! I will NEVER forget it.
There were audio troubles, but those were early in the show (Thin Ice, Mother).
Bryan is clearly miming in this song. One of the other guitarists in the background were playing his part.

@TheVlajko Funny, but clearly false. If you look at his left hand, Adams DOES know how to play the song. Why he isn't is a mystery, but it probably was a technical issue. It is well known that they had problems with the monitors.
