Well, that's a story they'll tell for the rest of my life. I have a similar story about when Bruce did a surprise show at the Stone Pony on the Fourth of July, 1976. And, asd you can see, I still talk about it 45 years later. :-)

I was in the pit for this show and what an amazing show it was!! This moment was cute (and to see Seaside Bar Song live was incredible), but Bruce pulling the mom onstage to dance with during Save The Last Dance For Me was for me even better. And all those covers - Don't Change, Stayin' Alive + Treat Her Right... Truly a show for the ages. But for me, the absolute highlight was The Ghost Of Tom Joad, and Tom Morello's epic guitar solo at the end. Just an unbelievable moment to witness up close.
How cute those girls were and what a story to tell at school.
It's magic how Bruce & ESB mixed all the generations in one passion: rock & roll. Long live the Boss. 🎸
