I absolutely love the E Street band but this 92-93 tour with this "other" band brings so much of a different vibe to Bruce's music for some of his songs. The backup singers adds so much of the R&B tone that Bruce talked about in his book in his early days before Born to Run. This song, "Man's Job", and even "better Days" to an extent is gloriously so different with this R&B feel.

It's incredible that Bruce at this point in his career - as a tried and true world-beater - had the desire (and humility) to use his platform to deliver that message. What a special human.
