I was thinking the exact same thing. I can understand that people who aren't used to music this extreme wouldn't like it. It's still a pretty damn good album. Even the production is not that bad, I have heard far far worse. Lyrics, as someone pointed out above, are a bit disorganized and bland, but that can be overlooked if everything else is in its place.
