I listen to to this song today just driving on the road and a state patrol car drove by me when Paul would say highway patrol. It was spat on at the time and I actually chuckled a bit wish I had my dash running at the time. Maybe tomorrow I will try it out.

The RCMP dress uniform is red, besides the local PD where I grew up had red Chevy Impalas so a red police car wouldn’t strike me as odd a Cadillac maybe but anything is possible what with confiscated vehicles etc.

I remember back in the 80’s the California Highway Patrol, New York State Police and several other agencies were using Mustangs.
